Problem:
As an ambulance service provider spinal backboards are one of many items on EMS vehicles. This equipment at times is left with patients at hospitals. Due to the many demands placed on Emergency Medical Services, retrieving this equipment is often a slow process. This delay results in overflow storage and potentially hazardous situations for hospitals. Although we offer our backboard management service to hospitals we recognize and promote that the ultimate responsibility of retrieving backboards is upon the EMS providers.
Solution:
We will routinely retrieve your backboards from hospitals, clean and return them to your location. Any soiled straps will be replaced. This is an automatic service that will allow you to more precisely maintain your inventory, eliminate personnel hours retrieving off site equipment & help alleviate the burden of hospitals storing your equipment.
Problem:
IV pumps, Holter Monitors & other patient care peripherals are frequently obtained by EMS units during inter-facility transports. This equipment is essential for the transferring facility and its return is always desired as soon as possible. Unfortunately EMS providers cannot make returning these items a priority over continued patient care and transports.
Solution:
Upon your notification to us that you have essential devices in need of return, we will retrieve the items from your location and prioritize their return to the originating facility. This immediately shifts wasted personnel hours into available managed resources for your operation.
Problem:
Unfortunately sometimes things get misplaced or simply left behind. This may cause complications for the sending, transporting or receiving agency. Misplaced valuables often cause family distress depending on the items at question.
Solution:
Should you find that a patient's belongings, ID, Insurance cards, transfer paperwork, etc. are in need of delivery simply give us a call and we will facilitate delivery of the item.
